Ingram became the first player in Alabama history to win the Heisman Trophy in 2009. The running back was a key part of the 2010 BCS National Championship team in Tuscaloosa.
Ingram was then selected in the 1st round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Ingram went on to have a 12-year NFL career before becoming an analyst with FOX Sports.
The Tide are locked in a back-and-forth game with the Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines had a 13-10 lead at the half, but the Tide have since added 10 points to make it a 20-13 game with around 3 minutes left in regulation. Both teams have lost a fumble and both have struggled on third downs.
Jase McClellan has had an excellent game. The Alabama back has 92 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Tide. Receiver Isaiah Bond has caught 4 passes for 47 yards.
We’ll see if the Tide can hang on for the win. If the Tide are victorious, they will await to see who wins between Texas and Washington later tonight.
