Tua Tagovailoa has been a player with a questionable future since the Miami Dolphins quarterback suffered multiple concussions last season.

His health, and future in Miami, is a popular topic in NFL circles, as talk of offseason movement among QBs inevitably mentions him in the mix.

But on Friday, the Dolphins put some of that talk to rest as they reportedly told Tagovailoa that they would pick up his 5th-year option, and he would receive a guaranteed $23.2 million for the 2024 season.

Tagovailoa finished the 2022 season with a 64.8% completion rate, 3,548 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

His health status will be a major talking point throughout his career, but for now, the Dolphins have settled that conversation for the time being.
