Mark Ingram is not only an elite football player, he’s an entrepreneur.

One of the newest members of the Texans, Ingram signed with Houston this offseason after spending the previous two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, plans to purchase a minority stake in D.C. United of Major League Soccer according to Sportico.

According to Sportico, Ingram plans to buy 1 percent of the franchise, which is being valued at a total of $710 million.

Ingram has played 10 years in the NFL, earning a total of $32,532,848 during that time according to Spotrac.

Who knows, if the value of D.C. United continues to grow, Ingram’s stake in the club could one day be worth nearly as much as what he makes for his entire NFL playing career.
