If you think the wear and tear of a 17-game NFL season have taken its toll on Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris, think again.

First, the former Alabama running back talks about the quick turnaround from a Sunday to a Thursday night game.

“I’m good. But it was a fast-ass turnaround; I’ve never played a game that short before,” Harris said, per Chris Adamski.

In fact, Harris says he’s not used to carrying the ball this much, but it doesn’t seem to affect him.

“I don’t think I carried the ball a lot in college,” he said, per Brooke Pryor. “We had like eight receivers that went in the first round. You think I got the ball 30 times a game with them? I train for this. I train to carry the load.”

So far this season, Harris has rushed for 873 yards and 6 touchdowns.
