No. 7-ranked Alabama basketball could hardly have had a better outing as it continued it successful ways of the 2022-23 season with a 78-52 win over the Kentucky Wildcats — a team that was expected to be among the best in the nation preseason — on Saturday.
And Alabama head football coach Nick Saban was there to witness it all.
Head basketball head coach noted after the game what he thought Saban could have been saying in the crowd, and it’s certainly a motto that the team brought to the court with it.
“‘Make their butts quit,’ I think that’s his saying. We were trying to make them quit tonight.”
The Crimson Tide currently hold a 13-2 overall record on the season and remain undefeated in SEC play at 3-0.
Nate Oats said it was great to see Nick Saban in the front row tonight.
