Nate Oats to Texas? ESPN’s Jimmy Dykes discusses possibility during Alabama’s win over Kentucky

Nate Oats has the Alabama Crimson Tide poised to move into the top 5 of the AP Poll next week after Saturday’s blowout win over Kentucky in Tuscaloosa.
The Texas Longhorns recently fired coach Chris Beard as he faces allegations for domestic violence, leaving the premier job open.
Could Texas be in the mix to hire Oats away from Alabama? During Saturday’s game between the Crimson Tide and Wildcats, ESPN analyst Jimmy Dykes said Oats would be his first call if he were Texas:
Dykes: "He's the young, aggressive, the offensive-minded he has right now — he has built Alabama into a situation where the basketball team is ranked higher than the football team. That's all you've got to put on your resume. He's that good."

Alabama might not let anything like that happen. The Crimson Tide have plenty of money to keep Oats in Tuscaloosa, so we’ll see what the rumor mill brings.
For now, though, Oats has Alabama looking like the best team in the SEC.
