Alabama has so many NFL prospects that Nick Saban’s program is currently holding its second Pro Day event of the offseason.

That’s just the latest sign that the Crimson Tide are on a different level when it comes to excellence in college football as several NFL coaches, general managers and scouts have shown up to watch Mac Jones throw to DeVonta Smith with both players in shorts.

San Francisco’s general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shannan are among the spectators on hand in Tuscaloosa this afternoon. This is noteworthy after the 49ers traded up to acquire the No. 3 overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The assumption is the team traded up for a quarterback, now they just have to figure out which signal-caller to take.

While Lynch and Shannan were in Tuscaloosa, Justin Fields was participating in Ohio State’s Pro Day in Columbus.

New England coach Bill Belichick, New Orleans coach Sean Payton, and Chicago GM Ryan Pace were also spotted by television cameras scouting the event.
