Following the trade of Carson Wentz, there’s no debate who QB1 is in Philadelphia.

Quite literally, in fact.

That’s due to the fact the Eagles have announced Jalen Hurts has changed jersey numbers for the upcoming NFL season.

Last season, Hurts wore No. 2 but he will be No. 1 in Philadelphia moving forward.

Interestingly, this is the same change Hurts made during his college career as he started as No. 2 at Alabama but changed to No. 1 following his transfer to Oklahoma.

During his rookie season in the NFL, Hurts appeared in 15 games, with four starts. He completed 77 of 148 passes (52 percent) for 1,061 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions. He also had 354 rushing yards and three additional touchdowns for the Eagles.

The team announced the news on Friday.
