Nick Saban admits Alabama may not be 'talented enough' to win a title, but is encouraged by 1 thing
Nick Saban said something Alabama fans may not want to hear Thursday night. Or maybe they do.
With Utah-Florida and more college football games on TV, Saban appeared on his radio show, “Hey Coach” to discuss the 2023 Crimson Tide while previewing Alabama’s season opener against MTSU.
Saban admitted that he doesn’t know if Alabama is “talented enough” to win a national title, but also said that has been encouraged by the competitive character the team has.

Now, it’s hard to say this Alabama squad doesn’t have talent. It’s even harder to say a team that has finished with 16 straight top 3 recruiting classes is low on talent.
It is, however, possible to say the Crimson Tide are not as talented as teams Saban is used to. And still, especially on defense, the Tide are chock full of NFL talent.
