Nick Saban announces several injured Crimson Tide starters practiced ahead of Iron Bowl
Alabama plays its final game of the regular season this Saturday at 3:30, taking on Auburn in one of the greatest rivalry games in college football – the Iron Bowl.
The Tide are heavily favored against the Tigers, but holding on to all assumptions in a heated rivalry game such as this is probably not a bad idea. College football can be unexpected, after all.
For what it’s worth, head coach Nick Saban updated the status of several banged up Crimson Tide starters Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Week 13 showdown. According to Saban, Eli Ricks, Jahmyr Gibbs and Cameron Latu were all a full-go at practice Wednesday.
Saban said Jahmyr Gibbs (ankle), Eli Ricks (head) and Cameron Latu (ankle) all practiced today.

Saban also mentioned that offensive lineman Tyler Steen practiced this week as well.

Alabama is fighting for a spot in a New Year’s Six bowl, being ranked above Tennessee in the most recent CFP poll. Win soundly against Cadillac Williams’ squad and that will likely be a lock.
