The Alabama secondary has taken a hit ahead of this weekend’s game against Arkansas.

On Wednesday night, coach Nick Saban announced that sophomore DB Daniel Wright had been suspended for the team.

According to Saban, Wright is being suspended for a violation of team rules and was not at practice on Wednesday:

Wright has played mostly on special teams the past couple of years, but he recorded five tackles against Arkansas State and three against Ole Miss.

Saban didn’t say how long Wright would be suspended, or get into any other details. However, we’ll update with more information if it becomes available.
