Alabama’s preparations for Washington are in full-swing.

The Crimson Tide will be looking to make an appearance in the National Championship Game for a second-straight year. In order to do this, they will have to defeat Chris Petersen and the Huskies.

Head Nick Saban is so immersed in the strategy, that he didn’t even know six of his former players were selected to the 2017 Pro Bowl:

Much of his attention is focused on Petersen’s squad. Saban made this comment on Thursday about Washington:

“This is going to be a really tough game for us. This is the best team we’ve played this year by far.”

He also was very effusive in his praise of UW signal-caller Jake Browning:

“He’s a very good player and one of the best quarterbacks we’ve played this year. Very accurate and does a good job executing their offense.”

Browning won’t wow anyone with his physical tools. He’s got a slight frame, and has relatively average arm strength. However, Browning is extremely efficient. He’s also a very smart player — not wanting to force the ball into tight windows.

Against Alabama, he’ll have to be on the top of his game if the Huskies are to pull the upset.
