Nick Saban had a good game plan for the Kentucky defense.

It involved taking what the defense gave him. Saban explained at the post game presser that taking what Kentucky gave Alabama led to Jalen Milroe having a huge game.

Saban credited Alabama for having a team win in Lexington.

“Jalen played really well. The offense started the game out setting tempo early in the game. He played extremely well,” said Saban. “The whole idea was the way they play on defense is take what the defense did. We nickel and dimed them in the 1st couple of drives and we hit a couple big plays. Great team win for us.”

Nickel and diming Kentucky seemed to work out pretty well for the Crimson Tide offense. It led to Alabama getting out to an early 21-0 lead in the 1st quarter.

Milroe accounted for 6 touchdowns in the win and once again played a huge role on offense.
