Nick Saban is aware of what Alabama’s up against in the Rose Bowl against Michigan.

On “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, Saban said that Michigan is aggressive on defense, and uses plenty of personnel groupings on offense as the Wolverines run the ball effectively.

“The quarterback’s a really efficient player,” Saban said. “They’ve got some really good skill guys. (Colston Loveland) is a mismatch guy, kind of like Georgia’s guy. They present a lot of challenges based on formations, motions, movements and all that type of thing, and they do a good job on defense and they stunt and you gotta be ready for where these guys are coming from all the time.”

Saban added that preparation is key because Michigan is different from any opponent Alabama’s played this season.

Saban said Friday and the next 3 days will be the first time the Alabama staff has met to discuss preparations for Michigan, and each member of the staff has a specific area to study for the Rose Bowl.
