Nick Saban peppered with Lane Kiffin questions during College Football Playoff press conference
On Thursday night, ESPN gathered the four College Football Playoff coaches together for a press conference as No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Washington continue preparations for a run at the national title.
One of the first questions Alabama coach Nick Saban faced was about the speculation surrounding offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin’s next job.

Saban addressed the Houston rumors, but said he only has as much information as everyone else has:
“As far as I know, I don’t think anything has been decided about that thing.”
No matter where Kiffin ends up, though, Saban said he expects his offensive coordinator to be with the Crimson Tide for the College Football Playoff:
“I think (Kffin) will want to finish the season with us, but I can’t speak much on that.”
Saban eventually grew tired of answering Kiffin-related questions and said he wouldn’t answer any more:
“I’m not going to answer any more questions about hypothetical situations,” Saban said as his last response to any Kiffin questions.
