The Alabama Crimson Tide were without a big-name player on Saturday as they held a scrimmage during fall camp.
That player was freshman star QB Bryce Young, who has already been making waves since arriving in Tuscaloosa.
Speaking with the media on Saturday afternoon, coach Nick Saban said he expects Young will be back in action for Monday’s practice:

Young is battling with Mac Jones for the starting job for Alabama in 2020, but Jones probably has the edge based on his experience.
Saban said Jones had 3 touchdown passes during the scrimmage, but needs to avoid getting down on himself when he makes bad plays:
Saban on Mac Jones: “Mac’s got to play within himself and be positive, not beat himself up when he has bad plays."
