Nick Saban responds to LeBron James's 'Shop Talk' copyright infringement letter
On Monday, NBA star LeBron James — one of the most famous athletes in the world — sent a letter to Alabama to ask the Crimson Tide to stop their new “Shop Talk” series, as he (or, more likely, his lawyers) believe it infringes on a copyright for his “Uninterrupted” company.
However, on Tuesday, coach Nick Saban didn’t sound like he was ready to give up on the Tide’s program, saying they’ll continue to produce it.
Saban said he wasn’t even aware James’s company had a similar barbershop-style program:
Saban on LeBron/"Shop Talk": "There's been at least 20 barbershop-type things I've seen on TV. … I didn't even know he had one. I'm sorry anybody could be offended by something that we were just having fun with. I enjoyed it, and we're going to continue to do it"

Obviously, this isn’t entirely Saban’s decision, as the university’s lawyers will have to get involved. However, it does sound like we could get some more episodes of “Shop Talk” in the coming weeks.
It’s LeBron’s move now, as Saban is standing firm with Alabama’s iteration of a barbershop program.
