Nick Saban updates status of Raekwon Davis, Damien Harris after neither started vs. Tennessee
Alabama was dealing with disciplinary issues involving two star players — DL Raekwon Davis and RB Damien Harris — during the early going against Tennessee.
Davis was held out of the first half after repeatedly punching a Mizzou player the previous week, while Harris didn’t get the start due to “internal reasons.”
On Monday, coach Nick Saban spoke to the media and said he expects both players to resume their starting roles next week against LSU:
Nick Saban asked if Damien Harris, Raekwon Davis will start next game: “Yeah. I mean, Raekwon played in this game, Damien will play in this game. So, it just is what it is. There’s no problems, they’re good. Hopefully, they’ll learn a lesson.”

The Crimson Tide have a bye this weekend and will use that time to get prepared for the Tigers, who also have a bye.
Having both Harris and Davis back in the mix and without disciplinary issues will only help the Tide. The Tigers, on the other hand, will be without star LB Devin White after a controversial targeting penalty over the weekend.
