As Hurricane Delta approaches the gulf states, a number of SEC games could potentially be altered this weekend.
We’ve already seen the SEC announce Saturday’s LSU-Mizzou game has been moved from Baton Rouge to Columbia, and the Alabama-Ole Miss game could be changed, too.
On Wednesday evening, Alabama coach Nick Saban said he thinks everyone is going to try their hardest to make the game happen on Saturday, but quipped that no one in the SEC really listens to him:
Nick Saban: “I think we’re gonna make everybody’s best effort to play the game on Saturday. No one really listens to anything I have to say, so this is about our administration, their administration, the SEC trying to make the best decision."

Saban says it looks like the worst of the weather will be through before kickoff and players won’t be in danger but it will be raining.

Even if the hurricane isn’t wreaking havoc, there still figures to be bad weather in Oxford on Saturday. Saban said the Tide are working with wet footballs in practice to simulate the conditions as best as possible without being able to actually make it rain:
Saban: "Everything we did today was with a wet ball. That's all we can do to prepare for it. We can't make it rain."

Will the game go on as scheduled? It’s currently set to kick off at 6 p.m. Eastern time on ESPN.
