There’s a reason why Alabama is projected to win the national championship yet again this season and why its quarterback is projected to win the Heisman Trophy for a second consecutive time.

Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is also considered to be perhaps the best in college football history and his record is indicative of just how dominant of a program he has created. Over his last 100 games, Saban has recorded a 92-8 overall record.

Over the same time span, Saban has reigned victorious in three national championships, five SEC championships and has put together a 20-5 record against teams ranked within the nation’s top 10. It’s hard to hold a candle to that, and that’s why Alabama consistently enters each season as the team to beat.

The Crimson Tide are set to open the season against Utah State on Sept. 3 and are the favorites to win every game on their schedule. As has been the case so many times before, Alabama has a strong possibility of finishing the fall with a perfect record.
