The college football world was rocked by reports Wednesday that the National Championship Game is in danger of being delayed due to COVID issues at Ohio State. One of Alabama’s most prominent supporters did not take long to accuse the Buckeyes of trying to buy more time for Justin Fields.

Kristen Saban Setas, daughter of Nick Saban, did not hold back on Twitter, calling “BS” on the Buckeyes’ reported COVID cases and comparing Fields’ injury situation to star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.

“If you’re not confident to play then SAY IT. I call BS on the COVID cases,” she tweeted. “They’re just worried about their QB and want him to have more time to heal. If he’s hurt put in your backup. You didn’t see us postpone the rest of the season to wait for Waddle.”

The tweet (screenshotted below) has now been deleted. Nothing is truly ever deleted from the internet, and the tweet will certainly continue to make its way around OSU circles.
