Nike gives Alabama special apparel treatment for Playoff
We won’t see alternate uniforms during the College Football Playoff for Alabama, but Nike is spicing things up a bit for the Crimson Tide’s baselayer.
The swoosh is introducing a special elephant print design according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell. A closer look at the anthracite grey training shirt reveals inspirational quotes pressed to the fabric.

All four teams participating in the inaugural College Football Playoff are Nike-sponsored. The only slight change on Alabama’s crimson jersey is an updated jeweled swoosh.

Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State will also debut Nike’s newest cleat, soccer-style spikes with a lockdown sleeve at the ankle. The cleats were reportedly made from using recycled bottles.
