Well, this is awkward.

Moments after No. 1 Alabama’s crushing 51-3 win against Mississippi State, ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe grabbed receiver ArDarius Stewart for the usual abbreviated post-game interview.

But just as Rowe finished her first question, a Crimson Tide sports information director pulled him away from the interview and gestured toward Nick Saban. The coach appeared to ask if Stewart was done talking to Rowe, who told him they were finished.

Maybe Rowe decided to cut her losses on the awkward on-air interview. Either way, it’s one of the more bizarre post-game interviews we’ve ever seen.
