Ohio State seemingly has its quarterback of the future in 4-star 2018 commit Emory Jones, but the talented dual-threat athlete is apparently still considering other options.

At a Friday Night Lights event this weekend, Jones said he’s still considering Alabama even though he’s already pledged to the Buckeyes.

“They’re still recruiting me pretty hard,” he says around the 2:45 mark of the below video.

Is Jones still listening to what the Crimson Tide have to say?

“Yeah, I am,” he confirms.

The Crimson Tide already have a sophomore quarterback in Jalen Hurts and also landed coveted 2017 recruit Tua Tagovailoa this past recruiting cycle, so they are seemingly set at the position.

However, coach Nick Saban and his staff would never say no to having another highly touted thrower head to Tuscaloosa.

According to the 247Sports composite, Jones is the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2018 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
