SEC fans may remember the Oklahoma LB Eric Striker for his profanity-laced anti-SEC trash talk following the Sooners’ overtime win against Tennessee earlier in the season.

This time, the outspoken Sooners linebacker has taken what could be construed as a cheap shot at Alabama RB Derrick Henry’s appearance in advance of the Heisman Trophy vote, which includes Sooners QB Baker Mayfield as as candidate:

Now it’s one thing to support your quarterback for the Heisman vote instead of a running back at another school, but seemingly calling a guy out for his looks just seems petty.

Though Emig and Radosevich did not report that Striker called Henry by name, the image of “Predator” will allow you to draw your own conclusion on if he was referring to the Alabama running back who recently set the SEC single-season record for rushing yards.

Here’s that video of Striker from earlier in the season if you missed it (WARNING: NSFW language):

Striker’s actions may have gotten under the skin of Tennessee coach Butch Jones, who reportedly told the linebacker to “have some damn class” in a postgame meeting on the field.

There is a chance that Striker and Henry could meet face-to-face during the College Football Playoff finals, if the Crimson Tide is able to defeat Michigan State and Oklahoma gets past Clemson in the semifinals.

I’m guessing that most SEC fans would cheer for an opportunity to watch that meeting take place.
