Patrick Surtain had his best NFL game of the former Alabama defensive back’s young career on Sunday when he made 2 interceptions in Denver Broncos’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The pick-6 was a 70-yarder that made the game 28-7 with 7:28 remaining in the game. Surtain had a knee injury scare earlier this season, but avoided the worst-case scenario. He had 9 pass breakups coming into Sunday, and he now has 3 interceptions on the season. The Broncos won the game, 28-13.

Surtain was drafted No. 9 overall in last spring’s NFL Draft out of Alabama. He made 38 consecutive starts for the Crimson Tide and was a unanimous first team All-American.
