Paul Finebaum explains why he can't trust Alabama, is uncertain about future wins
Paul Finebaum understands that Alabama has found ways to win behind Jalen Milroe’s deep ball, and a solid defense. But the ESPN commentator still has trouble seeing what the Crimson Tide can do next.
Whether it’s penalties, turnovers or general mismanagement, Finebaum has trouble believing the Tide will stay on track.
“The problem with Alabama, though Matt, is you can never trust them,” Finebaum said during his regular Sunday recap show with Matt Barrie. “They will just get in their own way. This game was a little different from the Ole Miss game, because they just finally pulled away from Ole Miss. But no matter what Alabama did, they managed to get the other team back in it.”
Finebaum enjoys looking at future schedules, and this time he wondered where else could the Tide slip up?
“How about anywhere,” he said.
Alabama will play Arkansas this week, and then Tennessee, both at home, before a bye week and games against LSU, at Kentucky, Chattanooga and the Iron Bowl on the road.
