Paul Finebaum reacted to the latest College Football Playoff rankings, and with Alabama at No. 6, the ESPN commentator has seen enough about the Crimson Tide.

“Bama is done and that’s hard to swallow if you’re a Nick Saban fan,” Finebaum said. “And you knew that this team coming in was his best in many, many years with the Heisman Trophy winner coming in and maybe the best defensive player. It has gone all wrong for Alabama, they lost that game with Tennessee, came back and lost a few weeks later on a 2-point conversion against LSU. And their biggest problem, Dan, they don’t have any good wins and I think the committee saw that last night.”

For weeks, the debate between Alabama and other contenders, this week Ohio State, was so-called good losses against the best wins. Finebaum suggested that the apparent tiebreaker for the committee was Alabama lacked quality wins.
