Paul Finebaum is already on record claiming his belief that Lane Kiffin will be the first former Nick Saban assistant to take down the Crimson Tide but the SEC Network host doubled down on that prediction on Tuesday.

During his latest appearance on ESPN morning show “Get Up,” Finebaum stated in his case in the video below.

Next season alone, Alabama is set to face four of Saban’s former assistants.

  • vs. Georgia on Sept. 19
  • at Ole Miss on Oct. 3
  • at Tennessee on Oct. 24
  • vs. Texas A&M on Nov. 21

While we won’t know which teams are losing players early to the 2020 NFL Draft or to the transfer portal, Alabama losing to Ole Miss seems like a long shot in 2020. Does that mean Finebaum believes Alabama will sweep the rest of these games next season? He did not clear that up but it makes you wonder if he’s studied Alabama’s schedule for next season before he made this prediction.
