Paul Finebaum weighs in on Henry To'o To'o's transfer to Alabama
The Alabama Crimson Tide look like a force to be reckoned with once again in 2021. They’ve successfully reloaded after going undefeated in 2020, bringing in another elite recruiting class.
And, over the weekend, they picked up a huge commitment from former Tennessee star LB Henry To’o To’o.
During an appearance on WJOX on Monday, SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum said it’s astonishing how many top players have left Tennessee this offseason (via 247Sports):
“It’s astonishing,” Finebaum said on Monday. “When you look at that portal, I think it was Bruce Feldman’s list of the top-40 pickups, the number of players that have come from Tennessee is remarkable. It’s stunning and sad for the program, because they have let most of their best players go. Now, I realize they picked up a couple of quarterbacks, so there is give and take.”
He also credited the Tide for continuing to rack up elite recruits and transfer portal additions:
“Do I remember in early March everyone saying that this was the best recruiting class that not only Nick Saban has had at Alabama, but maybe the best of all time? It is truly astonishing,” Finebaum said.
Will To’o To’o become an even bigger star in Tuscaloosa? Will the Tide win another title? We’ll find out this fall!
