Peter Burns and Chris Doering on SEC’s This Morning show talked all about how Alabama will respond on Saturday in its game against Ole Miss and what is still on the line for both teams.
“Has there ever been a better situation for Lane Kiffin? Ole Miss at home,” Burns said while providing context to this game. “against a wounded Alabama squad that frankly doesn’t look like the traditional Alabama teams of old.”

Alabama has 2 losses on the year and has had 2 games with more than 15 penalties, which are both records under Saban. Both losses were road games and this weekend Alabama will travel to Ole Miss.
“And while this game doesn’t seem like there is a lot on the line for Alabama,” Doering said, “There is an awful lot on the line for Ole Miss. I’ve talked a lot of people in Oxford and keep in mind this is one of the most anticipated home games they’ve had in a long time.”
Ole Miss is 8-1 overall and 4-1 in conference. Kiffin’s team still has a chance to make it to the SEC Championship Game and that path begins by beating Alabama at home.
“This is a dangerous game for Alabama,” Doering said. “Even though Alabama is favored by 2 touchdowns. Makes me a little bit nervous for the Tide.”
