Photo: Tuscaloosa brewery bids farewell to Lane Kiffin with impressive mural
Druid City Brewing in Tuscaloosa is known for its elaborate chalk murals that often draw inspiration from SEC subject.
In September, DCB honored outgoing LSU coach Les Miles with a surrealistic mural that was a spoof of Salvador Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory” painting.
On Monday, the brewery unveiled its new mural, a farewell to outgoing Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin titled “Goodbye Crimson Brick Road,” seen here:
Goodbye Crimson Brick Road! @Lane_Kiffin bids adieu-and he will be missed. Drop by for a beer before you head out of town, Coach! pic.twitter.com/a52Hx3Bayp

The mural is a spoof of Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” album cover, which debuted in 1973.
Kiffin isn’t leaving Alabama for Florida Atlantic just yet, though. He’s staying on as the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator through the College Football Playoff.
If the team manages to win a second-straight national championship, Kiffin’s farewell will likely be a much more festive affair.
