In just 106 days, Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough and Florida State defensive back Derwin James will be going head to head in one of the most anticipated season-opening games in college football history. Not only will the game mark the first college football game inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, both teams are projected to be preseason Top 5 teams.

Despite the animosity that will likely be felt on the field Sept. 2, the two standouts appear to be quite friendly in anticipation of their massive showdown.

Each player was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and have done nothing to disprove those incredibly lofty rankings during their brief careers. They each have had to deal with unfortunate injuries during their college careers, as well. Noting those similarities, credit both players for coming together for what appears to be a training session during the offseason.
