Carson Tinker was a popular former Alabama long snapper, handling those duties for the 2009, 2011 and 2012 title-winning squads.

He has spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the NFL level, but the Buccaneers recently parted ways with him.

Now, he has a new NFL opportunity, as the Las Vegas Raiders announced on Wednesday that they’d signed the former Crimson Tide specialist:

Tinker has appeared in 77 NFL games throughout the course of his career. He went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft before signing with the Jaguars.

Will he stick with the Raiders? We’ll find out over the rest of the 2021 season.
