Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt could soon assume the same role at Alabama.

At least that’s what BamaOnline.com’s Tim Watts is reporting.

If hired, Pruitt would be replacing Kirby Smart, who is leaving the Crimson Tide defensive post to replace Mark Richt at head coach at Georgia.

Pruitt played defensive back at Alabama in 1995-96, was a GA there in 1997 and an assistant coach on staff from 2007-12.
