The University of Alabama became a defensive tackle richer Tuesday.

Three-star Birmingham, Alabama, native Quinnen Williams committed to the Crimson Tide. He decommitted from Auburn June 5 following a visit to Alabama.

The 6-4, 265-pound prospect is rated as the country’s No. 33 overall defensive tackle and the No. 12 overall player in the state of Alabama, according to 247Sports.

Williams committed to Alabama over Auburn and Mississippi State, and he became the Crimson Tide’s 17th commitment.
