Rashaan Evans, former first-round pick out of Alabama, signs with new NFL team
Rashaan Evans was the No. 22 overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, going to the Tennessee Titans.
The former Alabama linebacker dealt with injuries in 2021, playing in only 12 games. But, he was an impact player while on the field.
Now, it appears he’s moving on. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Evans is signing a 1-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons for the 2022 campaign:
Former Titans’ first-round pick, linebacker Rashaan Evans, reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, per his agents @DrewJRosenhaus and @RyanMatha. Evans now will be reunited with Falcons’ HC Arthur Smith and DC Dean Pees, who coached him in Tennessee.

Now, he’ll reunite with some former Titans assistants, so we’ll see if he can take the next step in his NFL career this fall.
