Rece Davis, Pete Thamel address vulnerability at Alabama
Rece Davis and Pete Thamel broke down the 2023 Alabama Crimson Tide football program. Both talked about how vulnerable the team has looked so far.
Thamel believes that there is a hint of vulnerability that has not been present in the past 10 years or so.
“There is a hint, more so than in the last decade or so, of vulnerability at Bama. There is a thought that Texas has the talent to go in there and win. There’s so many variables that go into a game like that. Night game atmosphere, pressure. I think there’s a ton of opportunity there for Texas, and if Bama loses that game, it sets the SEC dominance narrative back some.”
Davis noted how Alabama’s last three loses have been in big, primetime matchups. He referenced the 2021 National Championship with Georgia, as well as last year’s Tennessee and LSU games.
“Much like Florida State and LSU, it’s not eliminating. It’s elevating for Texas, and it puts them squarely in the mix. To your point, Alabama has lost its last three games that have a similar marquee value. The National Championship against Georgia, that’s obviously a marquee game. The other two marquee matchups, the Tennessee and LSU games last year. Something on the line whether it be in terms of perception or national standing, like with Tennessee, or the SEC West and a spot in the conference championship game last year against LSU.”
Alabama will have a chance to prove that those last three big games are not a pattern for the program.
Kickoff will be Saturday be at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
According to a friend of my younger brother, the $700 is nothing in comparison to the millions he has given to Ukraine. Why? We require it, she replied. Because vs04 we don’t know why, it must be it. We possess citizenship.

Pete Thamel fact checked Manti Teo’s girlfriend yet? Biggest sham in sports journalism ever! When you thought ESPN couldn’t get worse, they keep Thamel and let go people who report responsibly.
So Bama has lost their last 3 marquee ROAD games against top 10 teams. If the past is an indicator of the future could someone tell me what the Tides record is in their last 3 marquee HOME against top 10 teams. Texas certainly can win. They could also be blown out.
