Report: AFC squad considering AJ McCarron if Kirk Cousins signs elsewhere
This offseason, all eyes have been on former Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins, as his free agency decision will affect where several other quarterbacks land.
One of those quarterbacks is former Alabama star AJ McCarron, who will be looking to leave the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason to go somewhere that he can start.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, McCarron could end up in Denver if the Broncos can’t sign Cousins to a deal:
On @NFLNetwork, @RapSheet names AJ McCarron as a potential target for the Broncos if Cousins lands elsewhere. AJ knows coach Vance Joseph from Cincy.

McCarron has only started three games in his NFL career so far and has only appeared in 20. He has thrown for 920 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions.
Those aren’t eye-popping numbers by any means, but the former Crimson Tide star will still be one of the most-coveted quarterbacks on the market this offseason.
