Report: Alabama dealing with yet another injury to a key defender

Alabama lost LB Dylan Moses to a foot injury on Monday, and there was more bad news for the Crimson Tide on Tuesday.
According to AL.com, DB Deionte Thompson suffered a knee injury during Tuesday’s practice session and had to leave the field.
The report states that coaches are optimistic that the injury isn’t serious, but Thompson will still undergo an MRI to make sure the damage isn’t serious.
Thompson was expected to start at safety for Hootie Jones, who, like many Alabama players, is also injured.
If Thompson’s injury is more serious than expected, the Tide don’t have much more experienced depth in their secondary.
