Alabama is getting set to take on Florida State in a much-anticipated Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta on Saturday, Sept. 2.

The Crimson Tide are also scheduled to play in the game in 2019, when they’ll take on Duke.

Now, according to TideSports.com, Alabama is in the mix for the 2021 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game too, reportedly against another ACC powerhouse in the Miami Hurricanes.

Alabama and Miami last played in the 1993 Sugar Bowl, when the Crimson Tide won 34-13 to win the national championship and put a stop to the Hurricanes’ 29-game winning streak.

If this deal gets finalized, it’ll be another highly anticipated Week 1 matchup.

The Ole Miss Rebels and Louisville Cardinals are already set to play in a Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in 2021, but it could end up being a scenario like this year, when Alabama and Florida State play on Saturday and Tennessee and Georgia Tech meet up on Monday.
