The important thing from spring practices is to get everyone through as healthy as possible. However, in a game like football, injuries are going to happen.
On Monday, it was confirmed that Alabama OL Jedrick Wills had suffered an injury that would keep him out for the remainder of the spring.
Per AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, Wills has a high ankle sprain and will be held out the last week of spring practices as a precaution:
An MRI confirmed that Alabama right tackle Jedrick Wills’ injury isn’t anything major.
Have heard he has a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss this final week of spring ball but that he should be back to normal in the next couple weeks or so.https://t.co/vojiDhTgsm

The injury reportedly occurred during Saturday’s scrimmage, and while it’s not expected to hamper him this summer, he’ll still need to work to recover.
Wills is a projected starter for the Tide in 2019 after starting in 2018.
