Alabama is reportedly down a running back in fall camp practices.

Matt Zenitz of AL.com reports that Keilan Robinson has yet to take part in the Crimson Tide’s fall practices. The report does not state any reason for Robinson’s absence, only noting that he was likely to be the team’s fourth-string option at the position behind Najee Harris, Brian Robinson and Trey Sanders.

Keilan Robinson appeared in 8 games last season as a true freshman, logging 39 carries for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns. Robinson had a 74-yard highlight touchdown run to cap Alabama’s win over New Mexico State.

In the absence of Keilan Robinson, the No. 4 running back spot may now be occupied by freshman Roydell Williams who “has been making a strong early impression,” per Zenitz.

Robinson was a 4-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite, choosing Alabama over 22 other offers including Arizona, Georgia, Mississippi State and USC.
