Former Alabama wide receiver Robert Foster is reportedly getting another active roster opportunity.

Matt Zenitz of AL.com reported Tuesday that Washington is expected to sign Foster to the team’s active roster. Washington would be signing him off of the Green Bay practice squad.

Foster is in his third NFL season. As an undrafted free agent, Foster signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2018, reuniting with former Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. Foster played in 13 games for the Bills as a rookie, logging 27 receptions for 541 yards and 3 touchdowns. Last season, however, his role significantly decreased, catching just three passes for 64 yards.

Foster was waived by Buffalo as part of final roster cuts on Sept. 5. Less than a week later, he signed to Green Bay’s practice squad.
