When Alabama released its “Bama Cuts” program recently, NBA superstar LeBron James took issue with it, saying the idea was property of his “Uninterrupted” brand.

That led to a war of words between Alabama coach Nick Saban and the Cleveland Cavaliers forward, but now there has been an interesting twist in the case.

Now, LeBron and Uninterrupted are being sued by Adventure Enterprises, who claim “Shop Talk” was their idea and that LeBron ripped it off (via TMZ.com):

Adventure Enterprises claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ Sports, it pitched a TV show to LeBron called “Shop Talk.” The backdrop for the show was a barbershop where celebs share their business success stories while getting a haircut.

The company claims it had numerous talks about the idea with LeBron’s company, UNINTERRUPTED, over a period of 2 years … fleshing out the idea and figuring out a strategy for pitching it to various networks.

What this means for Alabama remains to be seen, but the Tide didn’t stop producing their show after LeBron called them out.

Now, James’s team of lawyers has its work cut out for it to prove the idea belongs with LeBron and Uninterrupted.
