Report: Miami Dolphins looking to trade up to No. 3 ... but not to draft Tua Tagovailoa
The Miami Dolphins are expected to be 1 of the teams interested in drafting Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa in Round 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday night.
However, as Lee Corso likes to say: “Not so fast, my friend.”
According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Wednesday afternoon, the Dolphins are exploring moving up to the No. 3 pick, but not to take Tua.
Per Rapoport, the Dolphins would potentially take an offensive lineman in that spot:
Sources: The #Dolphins have called the teams in front of them for a possible trade up from No. 5 and are gauging the price to come up to No. 3 to potentially take an offensive tackle. We could see a run on tackles in the Top 10 like never before.

Guys like Alabama’s Jedrick Wills Jr., Georgia’s Andrew Thomas and Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs are linemen that could be in the mix that early.
Would it be a mistake to pass on Tua to take a lineman? We’ll find out what happens on Thursday.
