With Mike Locksley heading off to be Maryland’s head coach, the Alabama Crimson Tide have a vacancy at the offensive coordinator position.

That position is likely to be filled by QB coach Dan Enos, who has earned rave reviews during his time in Tuscaloosa and is a big reason why Jalen Hurts stayed this whole season.

However, according to AL.com, the Tide may have to move quickly to make Enos’s promotion official, as other big-name programs have expressed interest in hiring Enos as their offensive coordinator:

Dan Enos has emerged as a possibility for the offensive coordinator jobs at Georgia and Miami, sources told AL.com. At least a couple other schools have expressed interest as well regarding OC opportunities, per sources.

Enos may end up staying in Tuscaloosa, but he does seemingly have other options out there, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens moving forward.

This interest from other schools may force Alabama to lock him down quickly instead of exploring the market further.
