When the 2018 NFL Draft begins at the end of this month, Alabama S Ronnie Harrison isn’t likely to be on the board for long, as he could be a first-round pick.

If he is selected on Day 1, he’ll follow in the footsteps of a safety he greatly admired while growing up in Florida.

On Friday, Harrison joined “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network and said he models his game after late Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor:

“Growing up, I definitely looked into Sean Taylor,” Harrison said. “Being from Florida and him playing at Miami, he did a lot for the team. And just the way he plays, the physical aspect he brings, how he’s all over the field like a ballhawk — I just try to copy that.”

Harrison is known as a hard hitter, which was also Taylor’s calling card. Now, he’ll try to be as big of a star at the NFL level as Taylor was.

As a junior in 2017, Harrison had 74 tackles and three interceptions.
