After a long and grueling season, it was our last regular season weekend. We have all seen some very good football being played and some teams that really surprised us.

So without further ado, here is my overrated and underrated of this past weekend’s SEC championship game.

OVERRATED: LOCK OF THE WEEK PICKS

My locks have been completely wrong. There’s no doubt that this is the only overrated thing over the last two weeks. Hopefully I can get back on track for bowl season.

UNDERRATED: ALABAMA OL

We haven’t really been talking about this bunch the whole season because Amari Cooper has just been lights out and taken over the program, but these guys have really come together. Alabama has typically been a run-heavy offense that just pounds the defense and defensive line into submission. Now that Lane Kiffin is calling the shots, the offense has been a lot more pass-heavy.

We did see in the SEC championship game that the old Bama came in the fourth quarter, as that offensive line and Derrick Henry took over and dominated the Missouri defense. The Tide had some major issues with the offensive line at the beginning of the season, but they have improved every week to become one of the best in the country.

Everyone loves to see the flashy plays, the deep passes, the scramble plays, but it all gets started with the guys in the trenches. They will have their hands full in the semifinal game against this Ohio State defensive line, but I think that they will do what they did to Missouri and just run away with that one.
