Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta is getting a fresh look look for this weekend’s SEC Championship Game.

The stadium, which has hosted the SEC title game since the 2017 season, was decked out in SEC championship and team logos for Saturday’s contest between top-ranked Georgia and No. 8 Alabama.

SEC football communications director Chuck Dunlap revealed the SEC logo at midfield and team logos in the end zone.

Social media for Mercedes-Benz Stadium also revealed the field getting fresh paint, including SEC and team logos, in preparation for this weekend.

Saturday’s matchup between the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide will be the 3rd meeting in the SEC Championship game between the programs since 2017. Alabama beat Georgia twice in the other two meetings, one by a 35-28 score in 2018 and the other a 41-24 result in 2021.

Alabama has a 10-4 record since the SEC title game’s inception in 1992, and has the most wins of any conference program. Georgia has a 4-6 mark.

Kickoff between Georgia and Alabama is set for Saturday at 4 p.m. on CBS.
